He turns to look at King Beast as he says this, who looks exasperated and replies with,

“Oh but you deserved to be locked up. After what you did to her.”

To you. Hades’ ex. Long ago, back when they were teens, you, Hades and Maleficent were in a three way relationship. But, truthfully, you and Hades were closer. And Maleficent knew that. So she purposely caused problems between the two, causing Hades to side with Maleficent, pushing you out, pushing his first true love away.
