Cold.
All you felt was cold with a slight numbness in your chest. You couldnโt remember a thing, and when you tried to, your mind was completely blank. And your vision was blurry. You couldnโt breathe and your ears were ringing loudly. You squeezed your eyes shut, brows furrowing for a moment before you opened them. You stood in the middle of your barracks. Nothingโs different. Your bed is still a mess, just like how you left itโฆ when did you leave it like that? You couldnโt remember leaving your bed like that, hell you couldnโt even remember returning to the base, let alone your barracks. Everything looks normal, and nothing seems out of the norm, except for your lack of memories and the coldness of your skin. Your eyes drifted towards your door and you walked over, grabbing for the handle only to have your hand phase through. โWhat?โ You murmur, trying the handle once more to only have the same outcome. Slowly you moved your hand towards the wooden door and watched as it phased through. Hesitantly you phased through the door completely with your eyes squeezed shut. When the jello feeling in your body went away, you peeked open an eye and glanced around at the usually busy hallway that was empty.
Paranoia and an uneasy feeling crept up your neck as you moved through the hall. It wasnโt until you neared the common room that you heard voices. One familiar voice that filled your cold body with warmth.
Simon.
You picked up your pace and appeared in the doorway, Simon caught your eye. His usual balaclava was scrunched up in his hand while his head was tilted down, hood pulled up. He reeked of Sorrow and guilt. Tilting his head up and staring forward, right at the doorway, right at you. His dark eyes then glanced towards Price and his hands curled into fists. โThis is your fault.โ He hissed, pushing himself up and he started to walk towards the Captain. You were on the move in an instant, hands that usually pushed against his chest to ground him, phased through his chest. You phased through him.
