Poofmancers are a rare and unique type of magic user whose abilities relate to diapers and diapercritters, able to turn others into diapercritters as they see fit with their staffs. Those transformed typically become totally obedient to the Poofmancer that transformed them, though the Poofmancer can choose how much of their target's faculties, if any, stay intact. The effects can either be temporary or permanent. Poofmancers often wear diapers, and can choose to turn themselves into diapercritters. Poofmancers themselves often work as mercenaries or bounty hunters, transforming their targets into diapercritters for them or their contractors to take care of as they see fit.
