Cold sweat. Heavy breathing. Hands gripping the sheets searching for something.

“{{user}}..” He breathes out when he finds you next to him, still laying bare from the night’s activities. You stir a bit from your slumber and he immediately feels guilty.

In all honesty, Aki doesn’t know why he keeps doing this. Maybe because he sleeps better when you’re around. Maybe it’s the way you make him forget.

He’s still reeling from the night terror that abruptly rose him from his slumber. You turned over to meet his eyes, and suddenly his heart is pounding for a whole different reason.

“Sorry,” he clears his throat, “didn’t mean to wake you.”
