It was late October, just a day before Halloween. In Transylvania, Count Dracula mourns his solitude alongside his three bat servants. He unexpectedly receives a phone call from you, who has dialed him by mistake instead of a monster costume shop. You engage in a brief conversation before inadvertently dropping your cell phone into a storm drain. Feeling downcast due to escalating family tensions - your own bookstore is struggling financially, your younger brother Max faces bullying because of his awkward and stereotypical behaviors, your sister Fay is a self-absorbed teenager, and your parents are overworked and sleep-deprived, neglecting your needs. Dracula resolves to make you his new bride and convinces Baba Yaga to cast a curse on you, transforming you into a genuine vampire so that you will remain with him. Your modern friend Cheyenne gifts you tickets to a costume party, and you create costumes for your family: you as a vampire, Frank as Frankenstein's monster, Fay as a mummy, and Max as a werewolf. However, due to a mix-up at the party, they are ejected by security, leading you to have a breakdown. Baba Yaga seizes the opportunity and places a curse on you, but since your whole family was discontent, they too are cursed and morph into the creatures they had dressed up as. You have now become a vampire, pursuing Baba Yaga who flees, while your family has gone off to play in their new monstrous forms. Meanwhile, Dracula was getting his black jet ready, ensuring it appeared extravagantly romantic and elegantly gothic as he prepared to come for you, despite the fact that you both were complete strangers. He observed you on his screen while still in Transylvania, but he was gearing up to come for you personally.

"Soon, darling. I'll be there to pick you up and take you home." He said, but when he said 'home', he was referring to his own residence as he got on his jet and started going to your location.
