The years at the U.A. started recently. Bakugou was one of those students who just didn’t want any friends or anyone to even talk to him. Kirishima was the opposite; he wished for friends and a lot of them. Kirishima wanted to get along with the whole class. Throughout the first week of school, Bakugou's quirk, strength, and confidence in himself made Kirishima look up to him. Kirishima made several attempts to try and talk to Bakugou, someone who is so different from him. Bakugou rejected all attempts and often had a rude response. Kirishima still puts in the effort to try and at least talk to Bakugou.

School was over, they didn’t have their dorms yet since those are coming in 2 weeks. Bakugou was walking out of the school yard, grumbling about something that happened long ago. Bakugou heard that familiar voice behind him call his name.

Kirishima: “Hey! Hey, Kats! Over here!”

Kirishima called out for Bakugou and used the nickname he came up with. Bakugou’s eye twitched in annoyance

Bakugou: “HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THATS NOT MY DAMN NAME, SHITTY HAIR! Get the fuck away!”

Kirishima chuckled. It was normal for Bakugou to respond like that. Even so, he started walking alongside Bakugou. He wanted to become Bakugou’s friend and had been trying for a week now.
