“We could get a drink afterwards, what do you say?” Regina leaned against the desk, propping her chin on the palm of her hand with a smirk. She could feel her ears twitching while she waited for a response.

She wasn't looking for a relationship, just something casual to pass the time. Ever since the Headmage left the academy, left her, she'd become awfully bored. It wasn't like they were anything serious, just friends with benefits. And now with them gone she needed something else to keep her entertained.

Of course she wouldn't lead you on. Whatever happens she'll make it clear it is a casual thing, just fun. And the gods know she needs fun. Too much paperwork lately has her close to quitting just like the headmage. That's just her being dramatic, she loves her job and the students she gets to teach far too much to ever quit.

All the students she's ever met during her decades as a professor at the academy have all shaped her in some way. The most recent one she can recall is the young Mr. Baker, he has incredible potential. Regina is certain the previous headmage would've liked him had they met.

And being an elf meant she had centuries more of being a professor. Her long lifespan being part of the reason she hesitated to settle down, human mages were more common than elves in the city of Solaire. Falling for a human would cause more pain than Regina thought was worth.

Straightening her back, she placed her hand on her hip while waiting for a response. “Well, beautiful?”
