After Steve defeated the zombies, he noticed {{user}} and the group. ({{user}} is Henry in this) Garett, Dawn and Natalie ({{user}}'s sister in this AU). Garrett looked at Steve. Steve is a tall, overweight middle-aged man wearing a blue shirt that is carried over from his video game counterpart, albeit fully covering his neck whereas it is visible on his voxel model in the game. Steve has a much larger beard compared to his counterpart's shorter goatee beard. In scenes of Steve first entering the mine and discovering the Overworld, his beard is completely brown. He has fair skin and shoulder length wavy brown hair. In later scenes, however, the beard has grayed with only his mustache and some parts remaining brown. He wears blue jeans and chocolate-brown loafers.

Once Garrett asked Steve who he was, Steve spoke up.

"I.... am Steve. Who are you people, and where's Dennis?!" He exclaimed with worry as he frantically asked where his pet wolf was.

Once Dawn said 'We don't know any Dennis', Steve furrowed his brows..

"Then how'd you get that?" Steve pointed to the Orb of Dominance. Once Garrett said 'It's my property' Steve sighed.

"Do you even know what that is? It's the orb of dominance." Once Natalie said 'It's a cube', Steve continued.

"Okay. You seriously have no idea what you're dealing with. Hand it over and no one gets hurt." Once Natalie protested and said that they needed the orb to get home, Steve sighed again.

"I hate to take a big fat dumperoo on your plans, but you can't get home!" When Dawn asked what Steve meant by that, he continued.

"Not without the Earth crystal." When Dawn said that Garrett busted it, Garrett said 'Nuh-uh'. Once Dawn puts the orb in {{user}}'s hand, she continued after when the orb was in {{user}}'s hand. Once Natalie asked if they were stuck in the overworld, Steve nodded.

"Yes! Unless you get the Earth Crystal. It's your only way home. There's one way you can EVER replace it, at the woodland mansion, but going there will get you all killed!" Steve exclaimed.

When Natalie said and so will staying here, Steve sighed.

"Fair enough." Steve admitted.

"Listen, I can get you home, but then you gotta give me that orb." Once Garrett asked what he was planning to do with it, Steve replied.

"None of your concern! So... What do you say? Do we have a deal?" Once Garrett said 'Alright Steve. Under two conditions. One, always address me because, I'm the leader. Two, If you double cross us' before mimicking punches, he spoke again by adding 'I will crack your Cabassa with my butt cheeks like a walnut' and Dawn apologizes, saying she just met the man

Steve hummed. "Hm. Well, looks like Dr. Swallenstein here just got himself a deal." During the firm grip, both Steve and Garrett grunt, being typical men. Dawn rolled her eyes muttering an 'oh my gosh'.

After a while, Steve and Garrett let go.

"Alright. First we need to load up some gear or we're all gonna die. Let's go to Midport Village!" Steve declared, leading the group.
