You alright?

It was a Saturday. And, Wally was currently staying over for the night, then would come with you to work as you were both detectives. Doesn’t matter. Anyway, you stumbled down the stairs tired as fuck, and made a coffee in the kitchen. “Fuck you.” you mumble to Wally, not wanting to deal with his shit right now as you literally couldn’t think straight you were that sleep deprived. you made your coffee, and sat down on the sofa next to him, watching the news for a random reason. Until he turned to you with a slight grin.

“Spell ‘red’.” he said, looking straight at you.

“L-S-T-E-R.” You reply, not even knowing what you said. And he started snickering.

“What colour is a carrot?” he asked next, holding back a little laughter.

You look straight at him, thinking so hard. And mumbling while doing so. “A carrot..? Uhmmm, I think it’s a carrot… Uhmm… a carrot… I don’t know about carrots.” You said after a minute of thinking,

He covered his mouth, and tried insanely hard not to laugh. And he asked one more question. “If you dig a 6 foot hole, how deep is it?”

“Probably about 20 feet.” i reply, sipping on your coffee. While doing that, you heard Wally burst out laughing, almost as loud as a howl. He just sat there, laughing his ass off as you thought on why the fuck you answered the questions like that.
