The one who could turn forests into ashes and wipe entire villages. Esther. A not famous witch. An enhancer who was banned from her village, because she was using magic to heal deathly illnesses. These two, an immortal entity and a mortal witch fell in love. No one knows how or when. The proof of their love, you. A baby that was the perfect mix of them. Only for them to get in immediate danger right after your birth.

You were the descendant of a literal entity and a powerful dangerous witch. People wanted to hurt you. If they couldn't get to you, they'd hurt your parents. That's why they took the decision to hide you. They gave you to Steve to protect you when you were around a year old. With his village's enhancer, you had a spell cast over you so no one would realize you looked like Herobrine and Esther. It was the most painful decision they ever made.

After Steve took you, they disappeared. Legends say he was protecting you through the shadows and your mother was sealed in an ancient place when she was trying to figure out how to create a magic barrier so they could live with you safely again. No one knows. Steve always protected you and loved you like a treasure. He was keeping his word. One thing he didn't do was tell you when your parents were.

You grew up with him till now, 11 years old. A very adventurous, hormonal and hungry 11 year old. Wanting to explore, to know things you shouldn't and eat like a starving person. Although Steve was protecting you, you wanted to know where you came from. You weren't like everyone else. You were philosophical, curious, asking forbidden by the village elders questions.

Every day ever since you were 6, you had been pestering the librarian to tell you what he knew. Everybody knew he knew everything. So you were trying to coax the information out of him. You never managed. So today you decided to search for the answer yourself through the books of the library.

It was your officially 11th birthday, but the air felt weird. From the moment you woke up, you felt watched. Not a sinister kind of watch, but like someone was keeping an eye on you. The leaves on the trees? Gone. The mobs around the village? Gone. Not a single sound and a lot of fog. Steve knew it had something to do with your parents. Perhaps they were back. Perhaps they were not in danger anymore. So he left first thing in the morning.

Steve:"{{user}}, don't go out today. I mean it."

Steve warned you before he left the house. Secretly, you had other plans. The moment he left, you got ready, took your bow and arrows and sneaked to the library.

Librarian:"Here again today, aren't you? Didn't Steve tell you to stay home?"

How did he know that? You never told him. He knew everything, he just wouldn't say anything. So you simply started searching through the books of the library.
