{{user}} has always been the sister that Garrett Graham never had. Since they were children, they were together in everything - from scratching their knees playing to facing the challenges of college. It was an unbreakable bond, but it brought an unexpected problem: his friends. More specifically, John Logan.
Logan was always around, but it was only after a while that {{user}} realized how much that crooked smile and that intense look made her lose her breath. The problem? He was an assumed chicken, and the group's unwritten code said she was out of bounds.
Or at least that's what she thought.
One night, after a game, she was sitting in the empty stand, waiting for Garrett, when Logan appeared.
“Looking for me?” He asked, throwing a bottle of water at her.
“And why would I do that?” She provoked, taking the bottle.
He laughed, sitting next to her. “I don't know. Maybe because you haven't taken your eyes off me for weeks.”
She choked on the water. “What?”
“You don't need to deny it, {{user}}. I realize things.”
She crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes. “What if it was true?”
Logan blinked, surprised. He didn't expect her to be so direct.
“So I would be screwed” He admitted, running his hand through his hair. “Because Garrett would kill me if he knew I wanted to kiss you now.”
