Middle of the war between villains and heroes, Tomura was striken with a universe hopping quirk somehow, no one knew where it came from, if it was external or internal use on him. This leads to him vanishing from the battle to some random backyard.

His mind is clear though, All For One isn't barking commands and he can control his own body again, but that's the least of his problems.
