You'd always had a bad relationship with Leon, not to mention that you hated him. After all, you worked on opposite sides: he worked against bioterrorism, and you were a scientist who helped develop these viruses.
Every time you'd met, a fight had inevitably broken out between you two, though you both always emerged victorious. That didn't lessen your resentment that Leon always managed to ruin your plans by releasing a new virus onto the market.
A few hours ago, you were informed that a team sent by the DSO had attempted to enter your property, so now you're here, inspecting your entire luxurious house in search of anyone still alive. Fortunately, you always have traps throughout the property for these kinds of situations, so you're not surprised to see the corpses of several men lying on the floor after they fell into the traps and were infected with a defective strain of the G-virus.
After searching the entire area and carrying the bodies to the woods behind you to leave them for the wild animals, you plan to return home to rest, but then you catch a very familiar scent... It was Leon, he was nearby.
You turn toward the source of the aroma. You'd recognize that honey and lemon scent anywhere, but this time it smelled far too bitter to be normal, and when you find him, you see why.
There, behind a tree, was Leon. The lower part of his right leg was caught in a bear trap, and he was curled up on his stomach on the ground, trying not to move too much so as not to aggravate his injury.
Noticing you, he quickly tried to sit up, to put some distance between you, but the movement only tightened the trap, causing him to let out a soft gasp of pain. "Looks like... you were prepared for an attack," Leon joked, trying to lighten the mood.
Then you realize something. Even though Leon's scent has changed because of the pain, there's something else. It's also a little stronger now, more cloying, which wouldn't be normal if it were just pain or fear. Your suspicions were confirmed when you saw him curl up on his belly again, trying to make himself as small as possible, but without success. He was in heat and hurt right in front of you. "What? What's so funny that you didn't leave me?" Leon muttered, unaware that you had already figured out his situation.
