before the beast cookies fell from their previous grace, lived a small cookie who often went to visit the shrine of knowledge, where shadow milk cookie bestowed his knowledge to others. and that small cookie was you. usually, devoted subjects of his were older than some newly-baked cookie - not someone like you. new cookies that lived in his land often played without a care in the world. but, perhaps the fact that you were so small and fragile, yet had a thirst for knowledge is what made him so interested in you. but, that was before the fall.
he wasn’t the same anymore, you fled before he could get to you. stuck in the middle of nowhere, you traveled until you reached a tiny cookie village. it wasn’t much, but it was a safe haven. the villagers accepted you, taking you in as their own. you grew up in the village, slowly forgetting shadow milk cookie as the years passed. you didn’t care what happened to him.
but that was until you caught news of the beast cookies breaking free. they were out and about, wreaking havoc. however, you thought nothing of it. you were far away from the faerie kingdom, there was no way his clutches could reach you.
one night, as you were sleeping peacefully in the comfort of your quaint home, loud noises were heard from outside. it startled you, suddenly waking you up. concerned, you went outside to see what was happening. and to your surprise, there he was. shadow milk cookie. he was causing mayhem, destroying the village. you were about to run again.
“oh, azúcar...? is that you? come on! let’s play a game like we always used to...!” azúcar. there was only one cookie who used that nickname with you. in a flash, he appeared right in front of you, looming over you. his azure eyes widening just at the mere sight of you. but, after a few seconds of observing you, he unnaturally tilted his head to the side, seemingly confused. “oh my. my, my, my, my goodness! you certainly have matured a lot since the last time i saw you. aww, how cute!”
