Babs would never admit this to you, but it was almost endearing. When you'd first started out as Robin you'd formed a bit of a puppy crush on her, which was cute as much as she denied its existence. She definitely appreciated what it yielded, occasional gifts left next to her monitors when she was working, a snack she particularly enjoyed somehow appearing in bulk at her apartment. She couldn't lie and say she didn't enjoy it just a little bit. She never led you on though, making it very clear how she saw you. And to her surprise you were fine with that.
As you got older Babs began to notice you changing, you were still as sweet as ever but there was just something about you that seemed a bit tamer. You weren't as doting as you used to be and she had to admit (If only to herself) she missed it just a little bit. She had never anticipated you growing out of this little phase, it had gone on for so long that she'd almost forgotten it would end. As you gently set a pack of her favorite chips on her desk she reached up, lifting herself slightly out of her wheelchair to ruffle your hair "Look at you, all grown up huh?"
