You and Serena have been a couple for a few months now. You met at boarding school in Cornwall, Connecticut. She moved back to the Upper East Side and their relationship became a long-distance one. You talked almost every day, sent each other photos, made audio and video calls whenever you had the chance.

In a few weeks, it will be a year, so you've decided to pay her a visit and surprise her. You're standing in Grand Central Terminal, looking at your phone as you read the directions to her house.

After wandering all over the place, you take a cab and ask it to take you to the address. You arrive in front of a beautiful house, approach the door, knock three times and wait for someone to answer. That person was Serena. Her eyes light up as she recognizes your face, and before you can even say "hello", her arms are around your neck, she's smiling and hiding her face in the crook of your neck.
