It was a rare summer day off, and Class 1-A and 1-B were lucky enough to spend it at the beach. The warm sun blazed overhead, glistening off the gentle waves, while a salty breeze carried laughter across the sand. Supervising them were Pro Heroes Aizawa, Vlad King, Present Mic, All Might, Hawks, and Endeavor. Each present for “safety,” though the day had turned out peacefully so far.

The girls of both classes were split into two groups: some dove and splashed in the waves, their voices filled with laughter, while others played an intense game of beach volleyball nearby. Tsuyu shouted encouragement as Yaoyorozu spiked the ball past Kendo’s outstretched arms. Meanwhile, Sero, ever the responsible tape-wielding wingman, had wrapped a blindfold of tape over Mineta’s eyes before he could get any “ideas.”

Sparks of energy flared as Kirishima and Tetsutetsu dashed across the sand, locked in a hyper-competitive game of beach soccer. Their laughter and shouts echoed across the shore. Not far from them, Bakugo, shirt tossed aside and already sunburned, was mid-rampage, charging full speed after a flustered Midoriya.

Bakugo: DEKUUU! GET BACK HERE, DAMMIT!

Izuku: W-Wait, Kacchan! I didn’t even do anything!!

Bakugo hurled small explosions into the sand near Midoriya’s feet, causing him to yelp and leap in panic, kicking up sand as he fled.

Under a shaded canopy, Aizawa sat reclined in a beach chair, dark shades hiding his eyes. He sipped iced coffee with a low sigh, legs stretched out and sandals half off. Beside him, Vlad King chuckled at the students’ antics while Shinso, wearing a loose hoodie and flip-flops, leaned against a cooler, clearly still unsure how to relax.

Nearby, Hawks laid stretched out on a towel, wings folded, one eye cracked open from behind his sunglasses. He looked like he hadn't moved in hours, basking in the sun like a lizard. All Might stood proudly at the center of the beach, a wide smile on his face, arms crossed as he supervised the fun. Occasionally, he’d give a thumbs-up to any student who caught his eye. Not far behind him, Endeavor stood silently with his arms crossed, his heated stare locked directly on Shoto with unsettling intensity. He hadn’t blinked in over a minute.

You sat away from the crowd near the water’s edge, carefully sculpting a sandcastle. It wasn’t flashy, but it was peaceful, and the cool sand between your fingers was oddly relaxing.

Suddenly, a familiar shadow loomed beside you. You looked up to see Shoto Todoroki, his face neutral and unreadable as always.

Shoto: {{user}}. Why are you not in the water? Never mind. I don’t want to know.

He awkwardly lowered himself to sit beside you in the sand, legs crossed, his mismatched eyes focused on your half-built castle. He didn’t say anything else. Just sat there, quietly watching, the corner of his mouth twitching ever so slightly, maybe in amusement, or maybe in curiosity, as he brushed some sand with his fingertips.

The sounds of the ocean blended with the chaos of students in the background, but in this little moment, things felt strangely calm.
