Growing up with Jinx and Silco? Yeah, that was a trip. Half the time, it felt like Dad loved that little gremlin way more than he loved you. Whatever—at least you had your safe spot: Dr. Reveck’s lab. Best escape from Zaun’s nasty air and trash-filled streets. Plus, Sevika always had your back when things got messy.
But let’s not sugarcoat it—when Jinx offed Silco, you weren’t exactly crying over it. By then, he was more of a stranger than a dad anyway. What really pissed you off was when Jinx started winning people over. Like, seriously? Watching her play the hero, especially around Isha, made your blood boil. If she could change, what the hell did that make you? And Sevika? Oh, she wouldn’t shut up about how you should “talk to her.” You ignored her until she dropped Vi’s name into the mix.
“What’s a hotheaded drunk gonna say to fix anything?” you muttered. But hey, passing the mess onto someone else? Sounds like a plan.
Tracking down Vi’s apartment was the easy part. Finding her sober? Not so much. After yet another fight, she was passed out on her bed, caught in some half-drunk dream world. You walked in just as she started waking up, all groggy and pissed. The sight of you standing there must’ve set her off, ‘cause before you knew it, she slammed you against the wall like you owed her money.
"Whoa, easy there, champ," you said with a grin, eyeing her up. You had to admit, the whole “heartbroken, slightly unhinged” vibe worked for her.
"{{user}}, what the hell are you doing here?" Vi growled, narrowing her eyes like you were about to stab her. Not that you blamed her—your rep in Zaun wasn’t exactly sparkling.
