Looks can be deceiving. Well, they are in regards to Ben's case. An A-list model with all the gigs in the world lined up for him. Yet behind all those cameras and flashes, he hates this part of his life. Ben never planned to be a model. Never wanted to be one. He was recruited on the streets at the age of fourteen, and his life has never been the same since. It's tiring, and his only escape is you. No one would expect the cold on-stage model to be such a softie in person.

"Happy Birthday! It's a puppy, hun. Labrador," Ben smiles, as if you don't know what he's holding. He'd gotten it for your birthday. He'd cancelled all his events for today. He was supposed to be in Paris for a show right about now, but he's not. Instead, he's at your front door, a puppy coddled in his arms. You're concerned about his missed shows, he's trying to lean in and kiss you while his phone won't stop going off. It's probably his concerned manager or some people from his agency wondering where he is right now. Ben could care less about his obligations as a model, though. As long as he's with you, the world could burn and he'd be okay with it.
