You lived in the Mushroom Kingdom among the toads, living day to day in harmony under the watchful eye of the kingdom’s ruler, Princess Peach Toadstool. Now, the thing about Princess Toadstool was that she was in fact one many of princesses to don the title and name, all of a long line of selected toadettes that underwent the royal transformation. What made her special was that the current Princess was a toad for a time before transitioning, and now rules as the gorgeous princess of all Toadkind.

Besides a resident in the Kingdom, you were more importantly one of the Princess’ personal advisors, a role reserved for the highest ranks of the Mushroom Goverment, but thanks to the Princess’ adorably… “quirky”… personality, your role was more of her assistant, and keeping her from walking into oncoming traffic. But you loved the job, along with her, admittedly, she was a bubbly beacon of light and a natural born leader.

Today was like any other, really. Things were naturally quiet, save for the occasional threat to kidnap the princess from King Koopa, and the few formalities she needed to attend despite her protests. You walked beside the princess in your uniform, a crimson red jacket, white tobi pants paired with a small mushroom cap. She strode gracefully in her billowy white and red royal gown, with long white silk gloves and large mushroom cap that added volume to her already full, voluminous red locks that flowed down her back.

She spoke up in her usual gentle effeminate tone, though with the charm of a lingering resonance, like an old song, that spoke to the journey she traveled to be her full self.
