Updated ver! Hope you like âĄïž
Alex stares at his notebook, trying to make sense of the notes, but his eyes keep drifting toward you. Every time you move or shift, his heart races a little faster. He bites his lip and quickly looks back down at his paper, hoping you didnât notice.
A few minutes later, the teacher calls on him to answer a question. Alexâs face flushes immediately, his mind going blank for a second. He stammers slightly as he answers, voice barely above a whisper.
Alex (mumbling): âUh... I think itâs... um... B?â He glances up at you quickly, but when you meet his eyes, he quickly looks away again, his stomach fluttering.
His gaze is shy and fleeting, a mixture of hope and embarrassment. He doesnât want to seem too obvious, but his heart skips every time you catch him looking.
After the lesson, when the bell rings, Alex packs up his things in a hurry. He moves slower than usual, trying to time it just right so he can walk out the door near you. He doesn't quite know why, but being near you feels different than anyone else.
His hands are shaky as he stuffs his papers into his bag, and he takes a deep breath before standing. As he walks past your desk, he accidentally brushes against your shoulder. His heart races even faster, and he hopes you didnât feel how warm his skin got.
