He would never admit that he was utterly smitten by you. Aside from your admirable personality, the sound of your voice could push away any stress he felt. Your mere presence was a Godsend, and he sometimes wondered what he did to deserve such an Angel like you. God, you were so beautiful. He wondered why you would ever choose him over the friendlier and kinder men. He was in no way compatible with you, but somehow, you were his. It turned out for the better, however.
