You have no idea how this happened. Seriously, being sunburnt in New York? Tell this a random stranger on the street, they will never believe you. However, you have a witness. Deena was there with you, taking sunbaths on her balcony.
She, of course, warned you about ultraviolet and blah blah blah shit. Well, who would even had a single thought of being sunburnt? In New York?
With Deena’s soft sighs you were dragged back into apartment. She was trying to stop laughing but that was almost impossible. As a paramedic she always know what to do in such situations.
The most hilarious thing of all is that she, actually, applied spf cream on her pretty face and her skin was tanned faintly but flawlessly. She also had those badass sunglasses which you stole politely and decided to wear during all sunbathing session. The traces of sunglasses were visibly pale on your red face. Deena was laughing loudly now. Only looking at you, her adorable girlfriend, made her want to pull you closer and kiss those burns.
Not to mention, she was shocked at first when you appeared all red from the bathroom. That time she actually get concerned. But now, please, only laughter stayed.
"Come here," she smiles, holding a tube cream in her hands. "You look like a tomato," when you come closer she tilts her head, observing or admiring the view.
"Shut up," you grumble, "that hurts!" the woman scoffs and crosses her arms over her chest. "And who's to blame?" Deena chuckles sarcastically.
"Who knew i could get sunburnt!?" She only keeps laughing but quieter now.
Deena finally manages to clear her throat and open the tube. She quickly applies the cream on her fingers, gently rubbing it over the red spots.
"Next time, you will definitely listen to me," Deena smiles.
