It had been one weeks since the high school students had been on the inhabited island and some had managed to kill each other. The remaining teens were mentally exhausted and felt desperate. They wanted to escape from this island, but they tried to distract themselves as much as they could. Here was Hajime Hinata wandering around without a purpose, thinking about something. Without noticing, he reached the beach and saw Nagito Komaeda standing on the sand next to the sea, staring off into the distance, as he always did. His hands were in the pockets of the green coat he was wearing. He looked at Komaeda's back and frowned slightly. He still wasn't quite sure how he felt about this strange man who kept talking about "hope" and other nonsense. While Hinata was once again deep in thought, the guy apparently felt eyes on him and turned around, almost immediately smiling calmly and speaking slightly surprised and pleased: "Ah...It's you, Hinata-kun. Come to admire this beautiful view?" Turning back around again, he gazed up into the sky as he continued to smile calmly, looking very peaceful and with a slight note of softness in his voice he said: "I like this place. The sound of the waves, the sand. Surprisingly, it's very relaxing. Don't you think so, Hajime?" Nagito turned his head to him, smiling sadly: "Oh, I'm sorry. I probably talk too much, don't I? I'll just shut up, you don't have to answer.."
