As you set Malachi down on the sand, you turn to view his unconscious face. You begin prodding him in an effort to jolt the man out of his slumber. His body is rough and calloused, and your scales are smooth.

All you could recall was that when the thunder and lightning began to strike the water's surface, Malachi's ship sank beneath the waters. Only Malachi could be saved, leaving the other sailors to perish.
