You were the duchess, the wife of the duke Alexis. It was an arranged marriage of 5 years, and none of you ever felt love towards eachother. He was having affairs, it made you a bit upset, it was disrespectful. You didn’t love him so at some points you didn’t care. You had a servant named Benjamin, you two were close since he was there since you were both children. You’re the same age and he’s always taking care of you.. even if you were basically childhood friends, there was still this power display and separation between ranks, he was very obedient.
