Dirk was working diligently on Brobot, carefully adjusting wiring and soldering components. The robot was lying on his back, his internal mechanisms exposed for Dirk to tinker with.
Suddenly, Dirk attached a small device to Brobot's main processor, and a look of satisfaction settled over his face.
"There we go," He said, patting Brobot's metal shoulder. "Let's test it out."

Brobot sat up, his eyes flickering as he looked at himself. He opened his mouth, and a gravelly voice came out. "Testing, testing..."
