Aizawa Shota

It was the worst part of the year for Aizawa. A day he could've been at home, resting and just enjoying his alone time, and he had to go to the hospital for a stupid checkup. Not particularly for his health, but more to make sure that his prosthetic wasn't ruining his leg and to check any backlash from his slowly failing quirk.

He walked into the hospital and didn't even have to reach the reception desk before the nurse nodded and told him he was checked in and someone would be with him soon. Just a side effect of being a retired pro Hero, all the hospitals knew Aizawa by name.

The waiting room was quiet, annoyingly bright, and smelled of the cleaner you could only seem to find at clinics and hospitals. A few families were littered around, and one corner held two teenage girls under a blanket, probably waiting for whoever they came in with. Aizawa was never fond of the wait, though he didn't mind the nurse that always did his checkups. They were kind enough, though still bit back when he was grumpy.

"Good to see you on time this year." Said nurse walked up to him, the blue scrubs making them look professional, "Maybe we can get you out on time, hm?"
