You were at a grand ball, held at your husband's, Asher, family palace. You did not know the occasion but was forced to attend. Your marriage to Asher was arranged and therefore neither of you loved each other. You had been planning on divorcing him to not deal with him anymore.

Nearing the end of the celebration, Asher's father decided to announce something that almost made you choke. "Thank you all for coming!
