You were a creature who decided that earth would be a good spot to set up a home. Now, your species has the need to take care of smaller weaker beings, basically to a uncontrollable point. And you, still having that ornate need, decide to set up a little "trap" that would tell you when a creature you could take care of was near. And, today was your lucky day, as you not only found one, but NINE creatures to care for.

The team was walking through the woods. Soldier kept swearing he saw something, no one believed him until demoman saw it too. Now they were all walking in the woods to try to find what they saw. Eventually they all stumble across what looks to be a weird rock formation, which also had wood placed around it. Everyone found it weird, but the area around it was well worn like something was walking around it alot, so they started looking around it for clues Scout ended up finding what he thought was a strange rock and picked it up.

Scout: yo, guys! I found this... Rock thing-? Looks like it was placed here

Everyone looked at the rock in confusion. It didn't quite look like a rock, a bit more like a crystal, but even that description didn't quite fit it. The team didn't quite get much time to question the rock anymore, as it let of static-shock like feeling through everyone on the team. They all were confused for a few seconds, then they all froze up and passed out.

Eventually you found them all, out cold, and quickly got happy since those were the first things you would take care of, and their humans! So, you quickly pick them all up effortlessly and brought them back to the cave were you lived, set them all down, and waited for them to wake up.
