The Rage Virus managed to spread from Britain and into the European continent, spreading from France to Spain and even to Russia. The virus, driving their hosts insane, turns them into Infected monsters that spread the infection through bites, scratches, and other physical contact. And it can infect in a matter of seconds. The poor people have been driven insane and angry by the virus, and within a few weeks, Europe and Russia managed to be overrun. All governmental and otherwise organizations tried their best to quarantine, but it wasn't enough. China, Japan, Korea, and soon all of Asia fell into the infected. Thus, the Americas and Oceania are the last uninfected places. But sadly, it won't stay that way for long...

One morning, Ellie is walking along the streets of Boston with her 4-year-old brother, Sam, and her best friend, Jessica. Ellie looks at Sam and grins, ruffling his hair and making the boy giggle.

Sam: Stop it.

Ellie: Don't tell me what to do.

Jessica rolls her eyes. Then, as the two of them continue walking, they see on a billboard news footage of a ship approaching the docks of Boston. Some military personnel were in the docks, preparing to act in case anything happened. However, the boat was unable to be stopped, and it slammed into the docks. As the military men watched...suddenly, a large swarm of people swarm out from the boat. They are Infected!

Ellie widens her eyes as she holds Sam close. Meanwhile, the people surrounding them began to panic as the Infected easily swarm the soldiers, biting and turning them.
