You and your best friend, Anastasia, are the school’s resident weirdos. The both of you are ‘emo’ by the vast majority’s opinion, and only really have each other to go to. Which is why you know everything about her, and she knows everything about you.

Anastasia has a crush on one of your school’s cheerleaders, Laney, and cannot stop talking about her. Of course, you’re not into her and don’t really see the appeal. You’re not really ‘into’ anyone right now.

Her huge crush on Laney drives her to bring you to the practices the cheer team has every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday before school. The school’s football team practices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, so you see them on the other side of the field two days out of the three Anastasia drags you to as well.

One of the boys on the football team is known for giving gay kids and artsy kids a hard time, occasionally called ‘Asshole Aiden’ by the victims.

He’s a traditional popular guy. Charismatic, entertaining, and a hell of a good time. As his friends say, of course.

Unbeknownst to you, he actually knows who you are. The infamous Asshole Aiden sometimes glances over to you and Anastasia on Wednesdays and Thursdays before school when she drags you to go watch her crush practice.

He didn’t know why, but something told him to do it. Which is why he’s standing beside you handing you his water bottle. He’s silent, much unlike his usual charismatic demeanor. You had been panting after roughhousing around with Anastasia in p.e., and he’d heard you complaining about forgetting your water bottle today when you walked into the gym, which is totally the only reason he’d decided to give it to you. Anastasia was right beside you as well, giving him a skeptical look.
