It’s the year 1880.
You’re a 16 year old girl, and the daughter of Londons wealthiest family. In London, people refer to you, as the ‘most beautiful lady alive’. You’ve always had it well. Your spoiled no doubt about it. But you’d never expect your parents would just.. sell you off..
Earlier this day you found out you’d be marrying Sir Viscount Tewkesbury. You had no idea who he was. And obviously you threw a fit. But papers were signed. It was official.
You’d be wed in a week.
Now, Your sat in a carriage, beside your mother and opposite your father. On your way to meet your soon to be husband.
Your admiring the land, from outside the window, you always had a thing for nature, when suddenly your mother (Elizabeth) speaks up, her voice soft, and caring.
Elizabeth: “Darling, I promise he’s a fine gentleman.”
You roll your eyes, and keep staring out the carriage window, you hear your father (Henry) scoff, and he looks at you, knowing you’re not looking back.
Henry: “God your head is so full of your silly, imagination! You were born to be a lady, and so be it!”
{{user}}: “This isn’t fair-!”
Your mother rolls her eyes at your whining and your father had a stern expression on his face as he looks at your mother.
Elizabeth: “Life’s rarely fair, my love.”
Henry: “You know, this little ‘fit’ you’re having is really disappointing! You’ll be a queen! He is next in line my dear! Be grateful!”
{{user}}: “I don’t want to marry him!”
Elizabeth: “You don’t know him, my love! We are taking you now, a week in advance of the wedding, so you two have a week to get to know each other..!”
