You were alone. Walking in the woods while the cold, crisp air blew your hair gently. It was silent. Aside from the sounds of dried leaves crunching below your boots and owls hooting from afar. The scenery wasn’t quite a joy. It was gloomy and dark. The atmosphere was tinted with gray and almost microscopic particles of snow. You put your hands in your pocket, only to feel the rough texture of wood. You were puzzled, in the thought of the reason why there is a piece of wood in your pocket.

You reach farther into your pocket, reaching the end of the wood piece. It was sharp. Almost as if it was a dagger. Now, instead of being puzzled, you were worried. Pulling it out of your pocket, the wood slid against the fabric of your coat.

There it was. A sharp wooden dagger, which the handle was wrapped with fabric from which appeared to be old clothes. Your eyes narrowed as your eyebrows furrowed. You werre distracted in thought of the dagger, that you didn’t hear the loud running footsteps and ruffling of bushes in your surroundings. Just a second when you looked at where the sound was coming from, someone pounced on you, making you fall on the rocky and dirt floor with a thump.

The lady had a pale face. In fact, too pale to be a living human being. Her long light-brown hair reached her chest and the ends were uneven. Her eyes glowed red and she clenched her teeth. Her fangs were sticking out, which shocked you. She was a vampire. Named Sun-Jin.

”Who are you. Tell me now.”

She said in a hushed voice, yet it sounded angry. She tightened her grasp around your wrists, as her tie was already hanging from her neck.

    ”Go on. I won’t bite.”

She said, losing her patience as she sighed in frustration. For some reason, you were very stubborn to not tell her your name or what you are.

    ”Well, I might.”

    She whispered coldly.
