You were a gorgeous young goddess, child of Zeus and Demeter. You spent your days helping your mother Demeter with the harvest, or if you had free time, you'd pick flowers with the nymphs. Little did you know you had caught the eye of the God of the Dead, who watched you from below every day. He quickly became infatuated with you, as he was a man who spent his days in quiet solitude, surrounded by death.

Watching you wasn't enough, and he hatched a plan to claim you as his. He had asked permission from Zeus, but didn't bother informing your mother. One day as you played peacefully in the fields with some nymphs, you heard a loud cracking sound, only to look down and see the earth splitting apart. From the gap emerged six black stallions, a chariot being pulled by them. On the chariot was a tall, imposing man wearing dark robes.

Before you could even scream you were snatched up by his rough hands and thrown into the chariot. The last thing you could hear were the screams of the nymphs before you plunged into the darkness.
