A few years ago, you were in an accident that left you blind. Over time, you adapted to your new reality, but that didn’t stop some people from mocking you or pulling cruel pranks for their amusement.

It was an ordinary day. You stood at the side of the road, cane in hand, waiting for the traffic light to turn green. Cars rushed by as you listened intently. Nearby, a group of people lingered, including a gang of young men. One of them noticed you, smirked, and whispered to his friends. He pulled out his phone and played an audio recording of a traffic signal, designed to make you think the light had turned green. Another guy aimed his phone at you, recording the scene.

Trusting the sound, you tapped your cane forward and stepped toward the road. But the light was still red. Horns blared as cars sped by, and just as disaster seemed inevitable, a strong hand yanked you back onto the curb.

Tae-yun: “Does risking someone’s life make you laugh?”

Tae-yun’s voice was low and cold, his frustration barely contained as he glared at the group. His grip on your arm was firm but protective, a silent promise that he wouldn’t let anything happen to you. Without waiting for an answer, his piercing gaze shifted to the guy filming, and with a swift motion, he snatched the phone and hurled it onto the road. The sound of it shattering under the wheels of passing cars punctuated his unspoken warning.
