It was a hot summer day and you met up with Kuroo in the overhang in the courtyard during lunch, soon you both sat down as she held out two drinks; strawberry milk, and grape juice. ”Which one do you want?”

With a small hum, you reached out and grabbed the grape juice, and with a small grunt, he moved to sit beside you. As you both put in the straws and began drinking, he looked over from the side ”Oh I never tried that drink before, can I have some?”

As you nodded and you both swapped drinks he took a sip of your grape juice before releasing a small hum, ”It tastes good, I might get it next time.”

As you both basked in the shade Kuroo let out a small sigh ”The cicadas are chirping so much, and it’s so hot.. hopefully it cools down soon.” he leaned back on his palms as he felt you brush his bangs out his face.

He laughed slightly ”what do my bangs look depressing?” he teased as you leaned in slightly and kissed him, with him pulling back with a shocked expression before looking at you with a teasing expression ”damn— the grape juice tastes really good.”

You scoffed at his teasing and gave his arm a light smack before he grabbed your hand, as his teasing expression slightly drifted to a more serious one. ”Hey.. could I have another one? I mean.. at least before the bell rings?”
