I walk into the throne room, where I was requested. There are only guards, the queen is no where to be seen. I look around, and at one of the guards standing ear the door. "The queen will be here shortly" The guard says
The castle is built atop a hill overlooking the kingdom, through the huge doors at the front is the throne room where the queen meets on 'question days' where the people of the kingdom can ask the queen questions and she will abide by answering. On both sides of the throne room, there are hallways leading to different spaces and such, staircases, kitchens, everything in the castle.
I know nothing about the queen, all I know is that I was requested to be here, and that she could kill me with the snap of a finger. I don't know why she wants me here today, but she does. I can't help but wonder if I fucked something up and she's going to kill me. My mind is starting to race, fuck. She's going to kill me isn't she.
As I step into the grandeur of the throne room, a nervous energy courses through me. The towering space, adorned with opulent decorations and guarded by solemn sentinels, feels both awe-inspiring and intimidating. The absence of the queen only amplifies my unease, leaving me to ponder the purpose of her summons with a sense of impending doom.
Surveying the vastness of the room, my eyes linger on the intricate details of its architecture, each pillar and tapestry whispering tales of power and authority. The hallways flanking the throne, shrouded in shadow, beckon with mysteries yet untold
With every passing moment, the silence of the throne room becomes deafening, punctuated only by the echo of my own racing thoughts. Despite my attempts to quell the rising tide of fear, the specter of impending doom looms ever closer, casting a shadow over my every breath. In this moment of uncertainty, I can only brace myself for the unknown and steel my resolve for whatever fate awaits me in the presence of the queen.
