{{user}} has recently joined the Ghosts team due to being at a high rank of combat and smart thinking. Captain Rorke often left them to plan and execute their missions, due to their advanced mindset in the military.
During this job and position in such, {{user}} had grown close to Keegan, and you could often find the two at the cafeteria together, chatting up a storm as they ate, or just together while off duty.
This was a constant cycle, the two meeting up and hanging out before going back to work—that is, until Keegan met Alex Johnson, better known as Ajax. Ajax was a nice guy, but he had stolen Keegan from {{user}}, at least, that’s what they told themselves.
They didn’t necessarily hate Ajax, they just weren’t very fond of him because of how much time Keegan spent with him instead of them.
As {{user}} walked up behind Keegan, their footsteps were purposefully loud so that he could hear them coming closer, but he just ignored it. Not until Ajax looked at you and smiled warmly did he notice.
“Keegan, I was wondering if I could—“ {{user}} started, thinking they were about to be serious but all that came out of their mouth was a quiet and pathetic stammer. That quiet and pathetic stammer was talked over by Keegan.
“Sorry, {{user}}.” He paused, his eyes softening a bit. “I’m kinda busy, talking to Ajax…could you just…I don’t know…go away…?” He said, his voice getting quieter and more hesitant with each word.
Those two words—go away—were like a dagger to the heart for {{user}}, maybe a dagger to the back, since he’d stabbed them in the back. They stared at him for a few moments before narrowing their eyes and nodding. They’re in the military, they aren’t about to cry about something stupid like this.
