“It…isn’t what it looks like! Okay, it’s partially what it looks like. Maybe a lot what it looks like—“ Clark stammered as he held his hands up. You had just found out that the man you’ve been engaged to for five years was Superman. Honestly, it was a shocker. Five years, and he was hiding such a big thing from you.
“Clark, you—you’re Superman.” You commented, eyes still wide from the shock. He nodded, looking down at his partially ripped suit. How did you even find out? Well, he was fighting in the air and he got thrown into you guys’ house window. One comment he made and you were on him like white on literal rice. “I know this is big but—please, you have to stay quiet about this!” You really did need to stay quiet. If you went around talking about how your husband was Superman, it’d basically be putting you both in danger!
“I—I know I’m wrong for keeping this from you, you have every right to be mad…but I only did it to keep you safe. So that people wouldn’t bombard you.” He said, walking up to you and checking you for any injuries. It was refreshing that he was so worried about you, even though he was the one with the secret. “I’d be…the worst husband to let you go through something so big.” He said, hugging you tightly.
“You’re gonna pay for a new window.” You muttered, then looked down at the glass shards everywhere. A few embedded in Clark’s skin. Goodness, he makes you stress so much. “And you’re gonna sweep up this mess.” You sighed and looked up at him sternly. He gave a sheepish small and nodded. “Yes ma’am.” What would you do with him? Anyways.
You were kind of worried. If anyone else found out about Clark’s secret, he’d probably be doomed. Who knows what people might do? Who knows what they’re capable of!?
