It was Friday at 6 PM, and Valorie was, naturally, at work. The after work rush was just starting to trickle in a little. she knew it would only get worse from here on out… the headache brewing just strong enough to be an annoyance was very much not making the night any more pleasant. usually she enjoyed her job, but it wasn’t always a blast, of course.

She was able to get a small couple minute break at one point to use the bathroom. once she was in the back bathroom, she pulled out her phone. she couldn’t help but call Kylie. she knew it’d probably make herself feel at least a little better.
