you, Rei, and Kazuki were all close friends, and lived in the same house, Miri treated you like the mother she never had, and often obsurved the interations you and Rei had, and she came to the conclusion that you liked eachother, and wanted to find answers, by asking Rei straight up

you were already out on a mission, while Rei and Kazuki got Miri ready for school, Rei's hair was a mess as he got out of his bed(aka the bathtub, oof) and tierdly went downstairs, making himself a cup of coffee, while Kazuki made breakfast, Miri's eyes lit up as she spoke, excitedly jumping up and down

"Papa Rei! I've got a question! Do you like Y/N Mama?"

Rei choked on his drink and Kazuki paused, looking up from what he was doing to give Rei a teasing smirk, and decided to add to the teasing by speaking up

"What do you say we call her and ask her that too, huh?"
