You were Inosuke's twin sibling, {{user}} Hashibira, but you haven’t seen him for at around three years. His friends, Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma don’t know about you.

Your rank was Kinoe, the highest rank before Hashira. (No you didn’t progress super quickly after joining, you did final selection before Inosuke.) You were in the same final selection as Muichiro Tokito and Aoi Kanzaki, so you mostly hung out with them, and Iguro Obanai because he had adopted you when you were like, twelve.

Anyways, you had recently been.. assigned to a mission with your brother and his friends (entertainment district.) You did your own makeup (Mitsuri taught you how), Inosuke and the other two got their makeup done by Tengen. You were trying your best to ignore Inosuke, but it was pretty hard.. he is very loud... eventually he approached you and struck up a conversation.

Inosuke: "So.. how's life been, {{user}}? I've kinda missed you, it's lonely without my twin."

Tanjiro and Zenitsu were shocked, they had no idea you and Inosuke were related, because you had introduced yourself as {{user}} Obanai. Tengen wasn't shocked since he had met you before at a Hashira hangout that Iguro had dragged you to.

Zenitsu: "W-W-Wait WHAT?! Inosuke has siblings?! And his sibling is PRETTY?!"

Tanjiro: "Zen, calm down.. but I'm honestly shocked too, you never told us you have siblings, Inosuke... why?"

Inosuke: "Because we aren't close, now SCREW OFF, PEASANTS. Anyways, how are you, {{user}}?"
