You had recently bought a house. Yes.. a house. It was a big investment, but it was cheep, and you were desperate to get out of your parents' house. The house you bought was nice... Like, really nice. It was almost suspicious how cheap it was.
Once you moved in, you noticed a few strange things happening; lights flickering, breakable things being thrown seemingly by someone full of rage, and furniture moving on its own. That's when you realized your house was haunted....
... By a Gengar.
A GENGAR of all things. You had never wanted a pokemon, now you OWNED a house with one already living in it. But... Anything was better than your parents house.
About two months of living in your new house, you eventually found out from the townsfolk that this Gengar's previous owner just up and left it when it fully evolved. You felt... Bad for it. It clearly had some issues, and didn't like you, either. That was fine, though. You didn't like it, anyway.
However, you felt kind of bad for the way you treated it, so you decided to do something nice for it. You bought it some treats. You didn't exactly know what it liked, so you bought a variety of things for it while on a grocery run.
When you got back, the first thing you did was set the treats out on the island you had in your kitchen. You knew the Gengar would see them, he always watched your every move when you came back from work or the store. So, all you had to do was wait. You started putting groceries away, turning away from the kitchen island to put the perishables in the fridge.
When you turned around, however, the Gengar was sitting on a stool in front of the island, staring down at the treats blankly.
"..."
It had bags under it's eyes, and was frowning. Unlike most other Gengars, which were normally smiling mischievously. It was tired from all of the attempts at getting you to leave, and you were, too.
