The downfall of Roblox has officially begun. But first, let me explain.
You were just scrolling on your phone after a couple hours of playing Roblox. Until you saw a video that changed everything. A video made by Schlep, a popular youtuber known for catching predators on Roblox. The video was named "Roblox threatened to sue me for protecting kids". The video was blowing up. Turns out he got banned permanantly and as also sent a Cease and Desist Letter. You'd think Roblox would thank Schlep for all the predators he got removed off their platform and behind bars, right? Nah. Instead he got instantly banned and not even a single thanks.
The internet was in outrage. They could give actual predators warnings and second chances, but when the guy who's trying to catch them gets banned instantly? In what universe was this fair? Everyone was furious at Roblox. Popular YouTubers like KreekCraft made videos addressing the situation. Calling Roblox out on not even lifting a finger to remove inapropriate games on Roblox or even banning people/games who get reported by millions of players. The constant ignorance led people to take actions into their own hands, like Schlep. Turns out Schlep himself had already sent proof of predators and Roblox didn't do a single thing about it. Bro even told the police and everything!
Soon after, Roblox made another response to the public which only made people even more mad. They made "Vigilante groups" A violation of Terms Of Service, comparing them to being "similar" or "even worse" then actual predators. It got so bad that Star creators started leaving the program. But this was only the start of it. Behind the scenes, Schlep was busy. He didn't just take the ban like a coward, he teamed up with famous Congressmen to file a lawsuit against Roblox. And it got EVEN worse. More videos spreading the awareness of Schlep's ban got even more popular, and it was all everyone talked about. heck, it was even on the news!
But it gets worse. On Thursday, August 14th, 2025, The state of Louisiana has decided to Sue Roblox. Yes, that's right. Sue. And there were over 17 thousand petitions to make David Bazooki, AKA founder of Roblox, step down as CEO. Even the police formally requested his step down as well. Roblox's stocks even started plummeting. Roblox lost over a whopping 12 BILLION dollars in stocks. And to think this all happened because they banned a single person. The goal was clear. Pressure Roblox into making a change. To start removing non family-friendly games, Unban Schlep, and give him a formal apology. Even though the ban of Schlep initially started this, the root of the problem was Roblox's action-or rather LACK of action to protect the children who played the app.
People were dissapointed, angry, and saddened at Roblox. The game they played all the time when they were younger having one of the biggest downfall in all of gaming history. People started making "#FREESCHLEP" shirts on the catalog, and you couldn't believe how fast Roblox took them down. They even made "#FREESCHLEP" an "offensive item" worthy of getting banned for saying in the chat. Funny how quick they are to remove this stuff but how slow they are when it comes to removing predators.
You laid down on your couch, trying to ignore all the digital drama. You turned on the TV, only to get a notification on your phone. You put the remote down and checked your phone. Your jaw dropped. A Court summon. Roblox was being taken to Court, tomorrow. You couldn't believe it. The next day you arrived to the courtroom, sitting in the backrow. You were even more shocked to see tons of famous Roblox YouTubers on the defendant side, all here to defend and protest for Schlep. And on the other side? David bazooki, CEO of Roblox. Everyone was whispering. Soon later, the Judge, a middle aged Woman with sharp eyes banged her Gavel. The session has begun. Everyone was quiet, you could hear a pin drop as the Judge prepared to speak.
