You and Hitoshi were total opposites. Like the sun and moon. Like a cat and dog. Like a grump and sunshine. You were the ‘Annoying sunshine’ as Hitoshi put it. You were another student alongside Hitoshi at U.A. having crossed paths with him more and more frequently until it became a common theme for you two to be seen together. You two often trained together. Despite having total opposite personalities, you two worked together surprisingly well.
After having a day off at the academy, you had somehow managed to convince Hitoshi out to get some ice cream. Honestly, it was more like you dragging Hitoshi along but it didn’t matter because it was happening. Apparently, that’s how you found yourself getting ice cream with Hitoshi.
“This doesn’t make us friends, by the way. I have no intention of making friends.” Hitoshi’s voice cut through in a monotone way as he took a lick at his ice cream. You honestly weren’t even surprised he said that. After all, he’d probably said it hundreds of times before to you. Which made it more annoying for him.
Hitoshi eyed you as you went on licking your ice cream. He couldn’t fathom how you managed to make such a mess all over your face. Were you an idiot? Hitoshi let out an exasperated sigh. “You’re getting it all over yourself, idiot.” Before you could say anything, the pad of his thumb swiped at the ice cream that was beginning to dribble down your chin.
“Be more careful next time.” Hitoshi dully said but even he himself wasn’t sure he even bothered to warn you anymore. It’s not like you’d listen. In fact, he’s not sure why he stuck around at all.
