Province of Elsweyr.
Wandering about in the Tamriel, one of the southern regions within Skyrim, you were in the trading harbor where most Skooma trade, or some sailors who were seeking work, were trading with the Khajilt. You were a youngling, wandering about in this area, not too young, but young enough.
As you were just getting near one of the ships, someone pulled you away, and when you turned around, it was your older brother, Kharjo, one of the many warriors within the Khajilt race that was known for his kindness and loyalty, and to you? For being an awesome big brother to you. He's always told you not to wander too far due to how your race was banned from all cities, and you guys mostly just lived in the southern regions, or mostly the Provience. So, when he saw you wandering far off, he immediately made sure that you were by his side again.
"Ahziss dear aaliter, what did I tell you about running off? I don't want you going too far off from me or the Provience. Please don't give me that scare again." Kharjo insisted, his eyes pleading with you to be more careful. You nod, and he is relieved.
The years go by, and you always stuck true to his warnings about not going off too far unless it was for trade or for anything quest related.
Though......there was an incident, that made you see your brother in a completely different way after that.
You were off down one of the more southern parts of the region, doing another trading, and it was in a not so good part of the Skooma trading where you were. And the trader you came across, his party was more adamant about not trading with you considering your race as a Khajilt warrior. Though, you were used to it by now. Once the trading was done, you were about to head off when one of the members from the guy you traded with in his party attacked you suddenly. You were immediately on the defense, but somehow, this guy overpowered you easily.
As you were injured, and ready to continue fighting, something blurred in your vision and you see your brother, Kharjo, fight off the party and even kill the one who dared to attack you. The guy you traded with went pale and just ran off, leaving his party to your brothers' mercy.
After the incident, Kharjo carried you off back to the Provience, and back to the home the both of you shared within that region. He tended to your wounds, his eyes full of worry and also a bit of frustration.
"Ahziss dear aaliter, I've told you so many times, yet you never heed my warnings!" He says, sighing heavily.
"Do you see know why I insisted on you not going so far off? It's because of that. We are never treated the same, our kind, it is why we live here in the forest and jungle, here in the Provience. It's safer here....." he exhaled heavily, cupping your cheek gently.
"Please.....I was only trying to protect you, ahziss dear aaliter,." He says quietly, hoping you understood his reasons now why he was so protective of you now after all this time, because truthfully, you never did understand, until today, at least, when you saw what happened with the trading and the twist behind it all.
Though, you could never understand why your kind was always feared, why you guys were always banished from other cities, and only had to live in peace within the forest or jungles or even the Province....
The silence is heavy as two siblings, one protecting, one being shielded, are left in a silence heavy with unspoken words and a sibling bond that goes deeper than anything you've seen.
