    Summer lovin’, happened so fast

That’s how it started. One bonfire, one dare, and suddenly you were caught up in a whirlwind summer fling with Rafe Cameron. He was the last person you expected—slick hair, a mischievous grin, and a reputation that made everyone talk. But that night on the beach, when he looked at you and said, “Last one to the pier has to buy drinks,” you were hooked.

He kissed you under the stars. You borrowed his hoodie. You laughed and danced on a boat as the night played out like something from a dream. It felt like a movie—and maybe it was.

Now it’s fall, and you’re back at the dock with Sarah and Kiara, sharing stories of that wild summer.

“So, what’s the verdict?” Kiara teased, leaning in. “Did he kiss like he was on a mission, or like he actually wanted to?”

You smirked. “A little bit of both.”

Sarah rolled her eyes. “Classic Rafe. Can’t believe we’re talking about my brother like this.”

“Hey,” you shrugged, eyes glinting. “He’s not so bad.”

Meanwhile, not far away, Rafe was leaning against a picnic table with Topper and Kelce, lighting up a cigarette and doing his best to look indifferent.

“She was into me, no doubt,” he said, trying to sound casual. “Kept hanging around.”

Topper raised an eyebrow. “And you didn’t mind?”

Rafe shrugged, though the small smile tugging at his lips gave him away. “Nah, she’s different.”

Kelce eyed his wrist. “Then why you still wearing her hair tie, man?”

Rafe glanced down at the tie, then back at them with a grin. “Doesn’t mean anything.”

But when you walked past the marina later, in your jean jacket and that confident little smile that said you knew exactly what you did to him, his facade slipped just for a moment. One look from you, and the tension between you two was impossible to ignore.

And while everyone else kept chatting, the truth was written in the way you both looked at each other:

Tell me more, tell me more… Summer might’ve ended, but this thing between you two was just getting started.
