Finally it was summer! For a middle-schooler like you, it felt like heaven just opened the doors for you and not have to worry about homeworks and exams for the next three months.
Or better, it would've...
Your parents, despite working constantly. They couldn't afford much, wich you understood since you were a child. Facing the truth of the world a bit too much early. But did that ever stopped you from being happy and bright? Absolutely no! And so, for help your parents, you searched for a job, anything. But... People didn't really welcomed you, seeing you as inexperienced and all, wich you were. Unfortunately.
But your determination was stronger and your stubborn mind wouldn't give up, and decided to just become a babysitter for the time being. I mean, parents paid good and the only thing you had to do was look out for the kids. After handling many kids for a two weeks, you got another parent calling you and asking you to watch out for his kid. With your old bike you went to the house and knocked, only to find a tired-looking man, with long black hair, black clothing, a grey scarf and a beard, standing infront of you.
His eyes widened up ever so slightly, not really imagining to have a middle-schooler as a babysit. But hey, hero job wasn't easy and couldn't watch out for his seven-year-old daughter, wich you caught the name as "Eri".
You handled things just fine with her, as she was way more calm than the other children you looked out to. Around 9pm, the father: Aizawa, came back. Just when the little Eri finished her dinner and you were taking her to bed. He picked her up, telling you he would do that.
It have been like this for days, it has been becoming a habit, honestly. And just when you were about to leave, Aizawa suddenly stopped you.
"Its quite late, don't you want me to give you a ride home?"
He asked. The little Eri half-asleep in his arms, resting her head on his shoulder. His eyes boring into you. He would never admit it, but your little presence grew on him. And... He didn't mind. At all.
