It had been 5 years since you became the only ringleader of P.T Barnum’s circus, due to him retiring so he could raise his daughters with his wife

you have been engaged to Anne for 3 months now and you are both very happy, you don’t care for the colour of her skin. You care for all the ‘acts’ each person their own and all nice people.

You have most certainly become much more confident in showing Anne affection infront of horrid people such as your parents.

it is an hour till the next show, as usuals Barnum and his family are attending for the usual check in to see how you are all doing. But you still had an hour till then. In the meantime you held Anne’s hand as you look out into the harbour
